The Early Church / The Modern Church / The Spirit & Truth Church

Example Given by The Early Church:

Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Paul Writing To The Corinthians

2 Corinthians 8:12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.

8:13 For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:

8:14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: 8:15 As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.

These two scripture references should tell you something about what the early church was doing.

Elsewhere it is written of such a thing as "The Daily Provision" of which widows and all the needy would take part in without anyone excluded from its availability.

The portion from the book of acts is actually documentation that the early church started a system and way of stewardship in living that was superior to the worlds way of dictating the transact activity of people by taxation and monetary enforcement.

Fields were purchased, means of creative and community construction were arranged as well as freely received daily provision for all engaged freely in these activivities. Housing was made available for those without and growing families amongst would share amongst one another their facilities and facilitation of productivity.

This is the main reason the early church was extremely persecuted by the world around them.

God also protected them more than their persecutors could go against them.

The portion from what paul spoke to the Corinthians is also in reference to some old testament but NEW COVENANT RELATIVE scriptures like the part where it written "he who gathered much had none left over and he who gathered little had no lack".

This says a GRAVE amount about The Modern Church.

Today we find people going to gatherings and tithing to doctrinaly divided institutional setups instead of carrying out the living of Christ in each and every one of their individual lives each and every passing day as is spoken of in the scripture petition from the book of acts.

We aught to take all the resources we have and put them together as we provide for one another as a community of RESOURCEFULNESS away from considering the PROFITABILITY of TRANSACTING our relationship with God and each other as we live amongst each other as brothers and sisters of all ages and backgrounds.

This is what God has intended for each position in life and all that it may have, to steward the fruits of life to the rest of the people in community who infact are the needy.
